Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning.
Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States, Puerto Rico or Canada, who are of or are over the legal age of majority in their state/province of residence. Employees of Wrangler ["Sponsor"], VF Jeanswear Limited Partnership, VF Corporation, their affiliates, subsidiaries, retailers, advertising or promotion agencies, web masters and web suppliers, and their immediate family members (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse, regardless of where they live) and/or those living in the same household of each (whether related or not) are not eligible. Sweepstakes is offered only in United States and Canada and is void where prohibited by law.
TO ENTER: Between 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on January 1, 2010 and 11:59 p.m. ET on December 31, 2010 ("Sweepstakes Period"), go to www.riggsworkwear.com. Click on the Sweepstakes button on the home page, which will take you to the official entry form. Complete the entry form with your name, complete residential address (including city, state/province and zip/postal code), gender, birthdate, daytime phone number, evening phone number (optional) and e-mail address. A valid e-mail address is required. You will be asked whether you wish to opt-in to receive e-mail updates from Sponsor regarding RIGGS WORKWEAR® by Wrangler® products and promotions as well as several marketing/survey questions. Your decision whether or not to opt-in to receive the email updates or answer the marketing/survey questions (and, for the marketing/survey questions, the content of your answers to the questions) will have no affect on your ability to enter the Sweepstakes or your odds of winning a prize. Submit completed entry form by 11:59 p.m. ET on December 31, 2010. One entry per person/e-mail address per monthly drawing.
No form of Internet/e-mail entry other than as specified above will be accepted. Any person who attempts to participate with multiple e-mail and/or street addresses, under multiple identities or uses any device or artifice to enter multiple times in violation of the preceding entry limitation will be disqualified. In case of dispute, entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
Sponsor's computer is the official clock for purposes of Sweepstakes. No responsibility is assumed by Sponsor for lost, late, damaged, incomplete, misdirected, illegible entries/e-mail; for any computer, telephone, satellite, cable, network, electronic or Internet hardware or software malfunctions/failures; for garbled, jumbled or corrupt transmissions; or for other technical error of any kind.
Entries are the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor's acknowledgement of receipt of entry does not constitute any representation by Sponsor of Sweepstakes eligibility.
WINNER SELECTION / RANDOM DRAWING: Winners will be selected in a series of random drawings, with one drawing for each calendar month of the Sweepstakes Period. For purposes of these Official Rules, a calendar month begins at 12:01 a.m. ET on the first day of the month and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on the last day of the month. The entry deadline for a given monthly drawing is 11:59 p.m. ET on the last day of that month. Each monthly drawing will consist of all eligible entries received during that calendar month. Non-winning entries received during a given month will be retained for subsequent months' drawings. Each monthly drawing will be conducted on or about the third business day of the immediately following month by Methodfuel, Inc., an independent judging organization, whose decisions are final and binding in all respects. Drawings will be conducted at judges' offices in Greensboro, North Carolina USA. Odds of winning a prize depend upon the total number of eligible entries received for each drawing. Each (initially selected) winner will be notified by postal mail approximately 14 days after monthly drawing has been conducted. If a Canadian resident is selected in a drawing, in order to win a prize, he/she must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without assistance of any kind within a predetermined time limit.
PRIZES:
(12, 1 per monthly drawing) Prize: One year’s worth of RIGGS WORKWEAR® apparel – seven (7) RIGGS jeans and eleven (11) RIGGS shirts. Retail value of each prize is estimated at $400.00 U.S. Estimated retail value of all prizes: $4,800 U.S.
General Rules: No substitution or transfer of prize is permitted. All applicable federal, state and local taxes, and any other expenses related to the acceptance and use of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Limit one prize per family/household/e-mail address.
Potential winner must complete, sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Publicity Release (where legal)/Prize Acceptance Form within ten (10) days of attempted notification. Non-compliance within this time period or if prize notification is returned as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event of prize unavailability for any reason. Where legal, by accepting prize, winner consents to Sponsor's use of his/her name, photograph, or other likeness, the winner's hometown, any biographical information, statements concerning the Sweepstakes, or Sponsor's products without notice or further compensation for purposes of trade, advertising, promotion, and merchandising. By accepting prize, winner releases and agrees to hold harmless Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries and affiliates, as well as the directors, officers, employees, shareholders, representatives, agents, and assigns of any of the foregoing entities, from and against any and all claims and liability arising out of participation in Sweepstakes or acceptance, possession, receipt or use/misuse of prize. By participating, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by the Official Rules, as well as judges' and Sponsor's decisions. For Quebec Residents: Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Regie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Regie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by web site users, tampering, hacking, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes. Usage of www.riggsworkwear.com (including entry in Sweepstakes) is subject to the Privacy Policy and Terms of the web site. DO NOT USE THE WEB SITE IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE PRIVACY POLICY AND TERMS. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds, in its sole discretion, to be tampering with the Sweepstakes or the web site, or to be in violation of the Privacy Policy and Terms of the web site, or to be acting in violation of the Official Rules. Any use of robotic, automatic, macro, programmed or like on-line entry methods will void all such entries by such methods, and result in disqualification of any entrant using such methods. Sponsor is not responsible for injury or damage to participants' or to any other person's computer (or any information/materials stored thereon) related to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or downloading materials from or use of the web site. Sponsor's failure to enforce any provision of these Official Rules in any particular circumstance shall not constitute a waiver of such provision. If any provision of these Official Rules is determined to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable by any court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be replaced only to the extent of its invalidity/illegality/unenforceability by a substitute provision which most closely approximates the original intent of Sponsor and is valid, legal and enforceable; the replacement of the substitute provision for the original invalid/illegal/unenforceable provision shall in no way affect the validity, legality or enforceability of the remainder of these Official Rules. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned by reason of, but not limited to, infection by computer virus, worms, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which Sponsor, in its sole opinion, deems could corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes (including by way of example only fire, flood, riot, strike), Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes and select the winner(s) for one or more monthly drawings from all eligible entries received for such affected drawing(s) prior to and/or after (as appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor or by some other means determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion to be fair, appropriate and consistent with the spirit of these Official Rules. In such event, notice will be posted at www.riggsworkwear.com.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION/CHOICE OF LAW. To the fullest extent permitted by law, by participating, you agree that: (i) any claim, dispute or cause of action regarding the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules shall be brought individually (NOT AS PART OF A CLASS ACTION) in the federal or state courts of the State of North Carolina, USA; (ii) you consent to the personal and subject matter jurisdiction of such courts as the exclusive tribunal for adjudication of any such claim/dispute/cause of action, waiving any right of change of venue, forum non conveniens, or any like right; (iii) your recovery will be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs involved in participating in the Sweepstakes (if any) and you expressly waive your right to all other forms of recovery, including by way of example only, punitive, consequential, indirect, incidental, special and exemplary damages as well as attorneys’ fees for bringing such claim/dispute/cause of action; and (iv) the court shall apply the law of the State of North Carolina, USA in adjudicating any such claim/dispute/cause of action, except for the choice of law/conflict of law rules of the State of North Carolina, USA (or of any other jurisdiction which would result in the application of the law of any jurisdiction other than the State of North Carolina, USA).
PRIVACY NOTICE: Sponsor collects personal data when you enter this Sweepstakes. Entering the Sweepstakes constitutes your permission for the Sponsor and its affiliated companies to maintain the data in the U.S. The data is collected to maintain a record of those who have entered the Sweepstakes, to contact potential winners and, in the case of residents of the U.S. and Puerto Rico only, for marketing purposes in accordance with the Sponsor’s privacy policy located at www.riggsworkwear.com.

Canadian residents may omit return postage. Names of winners (first name, last initial) may also be posted at www.riggsworkwear.com.
